Local Ministry Team

Local Ministry Teams are part of a Gloucester Diocesan initiative in which laity and clergy work together to promote the mission and ministry in each parish where such a team is established. St Mary's formed such a Team in January 2002 and it was commissioned by the Archdeacon of Cheltenham later in the year. The Local Ministry Team is now engaged in its two year training programme and since Easter 2002 has also had a monthly business meeting, discussing a range of concerns from worship to young people, and from home groups to mission.
